Vice President of Enterprise Sales
CounterFlow AI, an exciting cybersecurity startup reimagining the way the industry approaches protecting network traffic and stopping attacks, is hiring for the role of Vice President of Enterprise Sales. This experienced, high-energy, self-motivated professional will develop and implement the company’s sales strategy, supporting CounterFlow AI’s growth and expansion in the market. This hands-on role reports directly to the President and has full responsibility for (global/regional/N. American) sales, which includes acquiring and managing new Fortune 500 customers.
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with the ability to clearly and persuasively articulate the company’s mission, solutions and business value to multiple audiences. There is incredible opportunity to drive both personal and corporate growth, with the potential to recruit and lead a future, sales team and elevate CounterFlow AI into the position of an industry leader.
This position would be ideally based in the Washington, D.C.-area, strategically located near a large customer base and the CounterFlow AI executive team, but would be open to candidates based anywhere on the East Coast.
- Build out and lead a newly-formed sales team, including overseeing any team leaders designated for government sales
- Lead all sales activities including: developing and executing on enterprise sales strategies from prospecting to close as well as acquiring and managing new sales opportunities in Fortune 500 accounts
- Maintain and develop existing CounterFlow AI enterprise accounts
- Build relationships with selected channel partners to extend customer reach and drive new business opportunities
- Perform high-level sales planning and pipeline management, leading to accurate revenue forecasting for the company
- Produce highly-effective sales and product presentations to all levels in target organizations
- Stay informed about CounterFlow AI's competitive landscape and how to sell the differentiating value of our solutions
- 5+ years of demonstrable success in selling network-based security products (Firewalls, IDS, analytics, etc.) to Fortune 500 customers, including multiple years of above quota performance
- Strong technical background, preferably in security or IT industries
- Practical knowledge of adjacent products and technologies relevant to CounterFlow solutions
- Current, actionable rolodex of C-level executives and senior technical decision makers
- BS technical degree or equivalent
- Experience in start-up sales a plus
- Ability to travel (50%)
